Christian Roberts’s experience focuses on the technical engagement of private companies in service of environmental progress. Prior to joining Conservation Innovation Fund, Mr. Roberts worked with the Clean Energy Buyers Alliance (a company consortium) and the US Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy to address private sector barriers for renewable energy adoption.

His work employed non-regulatory measures to drive environmental change. In addition, Christian taught statistics, focusing on business applications, at Colorado College and also worked at the World Wildlife Fund’s Market Institute, mapping the supply chains of the world's 200 largest food companies to address deforestation. Mr. Roberts holds a BA in History and Environmental Science from Colorado College.
